In 1992, I was interested in having
my class participate in a pen-pal project so
I applied to The School Twinning
Program which was funded by the Federal Government. They matched my
class with a grade 5 teacher in Katoya, Zambia. The teacher’s name
is Martin Kayawe. Twice a year our classes exchange letters,
pictures, and other items.
This presentation will give you an idea what life is like half-way
around the world in the Savannah
Grasslands of Zambia.
