Outcomes of Physical Education

 

Knowing               Through active living, students will know how to make appropriate choices and set personal goals that enhance the quality of their lives.  They will understand the importance and benefits from involvement in physical activities.

 

Doing                    Opportunities to participate in a wide range of activities that promote well being will be provided.  Maintaining personal fitness is an important part of this outcome.

 

Valuing                  Positive personal and social behaviours will be developed through active involvement in physical activities.  Students will be expected to develop respect for themselves and others through activity, co-operation, and communication.

 

Expectations

 

All students are expected to:

·        Give 100% in all activities

·        Have proper dress for all activities.

·        Remain in the gym at all times.

·        Treat classmates and instructor with respect.
