Evaluation

Welcome to Construction Tech 10. This course provides students the opportunity to learn basic principles of modern construction techniques. Students in this course will design their own floor plan for a house, and then work in groups to build a model replica from one of their designs.

This page is an informative brief of the course content. Examples of building practices,  and the sequence of construction followed by the class will be outlined. Students can look ahead to see the various stages of construction.

Included are important pages on class routine, safety, and machine tests. The shop is a unique school environment, that requires all to adhere to strict codes of conduct. Though a group project, students will be assigned individual portions of the house for construction and evaluated on their own work. Participation is extremely valuable and every effort should be made to pass the machine tests.
