Objectives:
  • To allow the teacher to determine the level that the students are at concerning the topics. 
  • To build students background knowledge. 
Procedure:
  • Students interact with online quizzes.
  • On the completion of Quiz 1 and 2 the students will write relevant information in their notebooks.
  • For Quiz 3 students go to the section titled volcanic products and review the section and then complete the test yourself section at the end.
  • Quiz 4 is to be completed directly on the web page.
  • Quiz 5 is to be done by the students and then students should write down the correct answers.
  • Quiz 6 involves putting together jigsaw puzzles.
  • Quiz 7 is a handout to be provided by the teacher and will be completed by the students going online to the web sites indicated on it.

  • Recording of information in notebooks 
  • Electronic storage of relevant data 
  • Pass in handout with questions answered

Equilibrium and Keq     Test 5 Review Outline

There are two parts to the test written on different days.

Part A involves 5 Equilibrium (Math)  questions from the Text book P 499 Q#6 and  7 and the Handout: Le Chatelier’s principle and Equilibrium and Keq ( Q 1 to 8, 11 and 12).

Part B involves 40 Multiple choice questions from:

·      Chapter  12: Rates of chemical reactions Multiple choice questions

·       Le Chatelier’s principle Q 1 a to d and 2 a to d.

·      Chemical Equilibrium – Theory review Q 1 to 12.

Part B also has 3 drawing potential energy diagrams similar to P 476 Q 1, 2 and 3.
And Chemical Equilibrium – Theory review Diagrams from Q  9 and 10.
