Tourism 11 is a course designed to introduce students to the eight industry sectors of Tourism and the occupations they offer as well as to help students apply and expand the knowledge and skills they have acquired in other disciplines. Students will have the opportunity to explore the Tourism industry in Nova Scotia and in Canada as well as the knowledge, attitudes and skills required of a Tourism professional.
The course allows students to explore upcoming trends and to investigate the impact of development and change on the tourism industry. Through online work, research and virtual class trips, students will be able to consider the dynamics of economics, cultural and social change upon a host of tourism related issues.

What to expect:

Each week you will have the following four assignments:
A weekly assignment

Weekly Communication in the Forum in the main part of this course.
