First Day of School

School opens for students on Wednesday, September 7th. Students will attend for a full day of classes on September 7th at most schools in our region, with the following exceptions:

Bridgewater Jr./Sr. High School, Wednesday, September 7th

9:00 - 11:35 am:          Grades 7, 8 & 9

12:30 - 3:00 pm:          Grades 10, 11 & 12

Lunenburg Jr./Sr. High School, Wednesday, September 7th

12:35 - 2:35 pm:    Grades 6, 7, 8 & 9

Full day:              Grades 10, 11 & 12

Park View Education Centre

Wednesday, September 7th: Grade 10 students only

Thursday, September 8th: All students in all grades

Welcoming New Principals and Vice-Principals

There are some new faces among the educational leaders in our public schools, this year. Joining us as Principals are:

Ms. Helen Lanthier, Aspotogan Consolidated Elementary;

Mr. Chuck McLellan, Bridgewater Junior/Senior High;

Mr. Darren Haley, Hebbville Academy;

Ms. Janet McVeigh, North Queens Schools, Greenfield Elementary;

Mr. Michael Stewart, Pentz Elementary.

We also welcome two new Vice-Principals:

Mr. Mark MacLeod, Bridgewater Elementary;

Ms. Claire Eddy, Hebbville Academy (Primary - Grade 4)
