- Visit the web site for math and a new site with fun games is also on the class web page
- We are working on printing our full name on three lines. Try at home.
- The children are enjoying rhyming words. Try some at home.
- We are learning all about the -at family. What words do you know that would be an -at word? hat, cat, ____ and ug words. Ex. bug, tug, jug, mug, dug etc.
- In math we continue to work on graphs, counting many ways, mental math and measuring using scales. What is heavier and lighter and what will balance the scales?
- We are experimenting with tan grams. The children are making and copying many shapes of cats, rabbits, a house, candle and others.
- The children are becoming word detectives. They are looking for small words that are hiding in big words. Try some at home.
