| Aaron Flint Churchill was born
in May 1850 in
Brooklyn, Nova Scotia. He married his cousin Lois Churchill, daughter of
Capt. William Churchill, in 1874. They had no
children, but raised Lois' niece. Aaron
Churchill's nickname is "Rudder" Churchill because
of his heroic action to save his ship. Aaron F Churchill did not have much of an education,
since his first time at sea was at the age of 14
years. He retired from sailing at the age of 24. He moved to Savanah
Georgia where he was a ship builder. Aaron donated money to charity and
encouraged people to go to Nova Scotia on his ships. He died in 1920 and
was buried near his summer

actions héroïques en sauvant son navire. Aaron Flint Churchill n'a
pas reçu beaucoup d'éducation parce qu' il travaillait sur les navires
à voiles à l'âge de 14 ans. Il a pris sa retraite de la mer à l'âge
de 24 ans. Il a déménagé à Savanah Georgie où il construisait des
navires à voiles. Il faisait des dons à la charité. Il a encouragé les
personnes à aller en Nouvelle-écosse. Il est mort en 1920 et il a été
enterré près de sa résidence
d'été à Darling Lake.
