Your child will bring home a new book every week that has been introduced in their Reading Group. Please have them practice reading it each night and return it the next week on the specified day.

Tips for Reading with your child:

• Have your child point to the words with their finger as they read
• Ask them where parts of the book are before or after reading(title, front and back cover, spine, the author and where they story would start)
• Ask them their favorite part and why
• Ask them if it reminds them of anything from their own lives
• Ask them to point out a word or a letter
• Take turns reading a page
• Have fun and enjoy time reading with your child
