žThe koala is like a small bear, 2 ft. high, up to 33 lb. in
weight, with tufted ears, small eyes with a vertical split pupil and a beak-like snout.
Tailless except a very short rounded stump. It has ash-grey fur with a tinge of
brown on the upper parts, yellowish hind quarters and white on the under
parts.
