Most Russian Christmas trees have homemade or traditional family ornaments like little wooden figures.
Russian’s Santa
Father Frost is the Santa of Russia.
He is associated with New Years not Christmas.
In Illustrations he is usually with his granddaughter, The Snow Maiden, Snegurochka and a evergreen tree.

A  traditional gift in Russia for good boys and girls is a set of stacking matryoshka dolls.

Unique Christmas
In Russia they celebrate New Years not Christmas.
 “The Russian Winter Festival is celebrated for twelve days between December 25th and January 5th. It is like Christmas, though Christmas is not officially recognized. Christmas trees are decorated and called New Years trees.”
