Different individuals respond differently to the same information (stimulus). Not only do people respond to information differently, their brains (like other parts of the body) in susceptibility to illness.
Responses can be grouped into three categories:
1. behaviours or actions
2. feelings or emotions
3. thoughts
Assignment: The book being slammed down caused you to behave, feel, and think differently for a short time. What things might cause your brain to work differently for a long period of time (hours, days, weeks, years)?
