The males average 7-9ft long and 5ft high at the shoulder. A male weighs 900lb to the maximum over half a ton.
The females are smaller and about 700lb.
All Polar Bears have a long head, small ears along neck, strong legs, big feet with hairy soles and a stump for a tail. Their coats are white and yellowish its made up of long hairs and dense under fur.
