Jackie Robinson's life story
Jackie Robinson was born in Georgia and died in Connecticut.at a young age his father abandoned him. After he grew up he joined a gang. In high school he was a very good athlete he was a shortstop and a catcher in baseball a quarterback on the football team a guard on the basketball team and a member of the tennis club and track and field club. Then after he got out of collage he wanted to go to the major leagues in baseball at that time they never let blacks play baseball. But eventually he got on the dodgers roster and he was amazing then in 1956 he retired and in 1997 they retired his number.
