Hall’s Life

The Battle William Hall and Lieutenant T.J. Young were the only survivors that were in the gun crews. The rest of them died or got wounded they toke the last gun fired it and won the Battle. For that Hall won the Victoria Cross and died in August 25,1904.

Victoria Cross William Hall was the first person of African ancestry, to receive the Victoria Cross, the highest military decoration in the British Empire.
