a college to enroll and they accepted him, but when they =
found out he was black, they told him he could not
attend.
• After 5 years, when he was 30 he was accepted at=

collage in Iowa.

/span>Brooker T. Washington wrote him on account of hiri=
ng him
as a plant scientist.

/span>George died January 5-1943 in Tuskegee, Alabama.
