La Befana
•Italians believe in La Befana,an old witch who was too busy sweeping her house to go with the Three Kings to Bethlehem.                                    After sweeping, she set out to find the Christ Child but lost her way.The legend says she continues her search on January 5th  the night before Epiphany,Befana leaves gifts in children's shoes in case one of them is the Christ Child.
